Elegant greeneries: a timeless wedding decoration at the end of August

We have hosted weddings in our home for many years.
I’ve created a number of decorations, following my style and portraying the requests of brides and grooms following the season, and I’m constantly amazed by the variety of results you can achieve mixing all the elements! It is surprising considering that the source of the materials I use to create these arrangements is more or less always the same: the countryside around Il Rigo.
Yes, because our aim has always been to be as local and sustainable as possible but also as creative and open minded as possible, trying to see beauty and in natural forms and shapes of humble elements like grasses, seed pods and foliage.

I’ll be honest with you: sometimes I feel disappointed when I’m asked to realize a garland instead of a colorful decoration with our home grown flowers. I just love the cottage garden feel of an arrangement full of colors and variety! But I loved creating this wedding decoration, a tapestry of different shades of greens, a Mediterranean bush turned into an elegant and scented garland, literally a green tread connecting the territory and the celebration.
