Theresa & Florian: A Charming End-of-Summer Intimate Wedding

Nestled in the rolling hills of Tuscany, as the warm summer days began to fade into the cool embrace of fall, this intimate wedding captured the essence of love and simplicity.
With a close-knit group of family and friends, the couple exchanged vows under the pine trees of Il Rigo’s backyard. Every moment, from the quiet anticipation to the joyful celebration, was beautifully documented by the sensitive lens of photographer Federica Cavicchi, reflecting the deep connection and timeless beauty of this unforgettable day.

First of all, we would like to thank you once again for the wonderful wedding at Il Rigo! You made our dreams come true and we are eternally grateful to you for organizing such a beautiful weekend. We hope to come back soon and enjoy the peace and beauty of Il Rigo.

There were so many beautiful moments: from the arrival of our guests for the welcome pizza-night, our moving in together for the ceremony to one of our favourite songs, our vows and the stunning evening atmosphere during dinner.

We have been to Italy countless times, but the Val d’Orcia region has always been our favourite in Tuscany. We love the food, the wine, the people and the landscape.
It was an absolute dream to celebrate our wedding at this place with our closest friends and family.

I found my wedding dress a year earlier in August - a two-piece by French designer ‘Caroline Takvorian’.
I immediately fell in love with the flowing silk fabric of the skirt, the leg slit and the unique lace of the bodice. At the time, we didn't know where and when we would get married. But only a few weeks later we were on holiday at Il Rigo ...

When we stayed at Il Rigo, we were immediately impressed by the hospitality, the attention to detail (especially the floral decorations), the awareness to sustainability and the excellent food.
