An intimate wedding in June and a ceremony in a country church
Today's featured wedding was celebrated this June.
Although, looking at these golden fields of wheat and oats, it is very hard to believe the photos were actually shot in June and not July: this unusual colour is due to last year's drought.
In any case, I'm sure you'll enjoy the gleaming warm light of this special day and the summer vibes of this post!
Italy makes you fall in love, and Tuscany ties knots!
C&S used to attend an Italian class together, so they decided that Italy was the right place to celebrate their wedding.
I loved the attention to details they put in preparing all the signs, the decorations, the photos of their travels and the presents for their guests.
The bride's dream was to have a blush peony bouquet. The ceremony was celebrated in one of my favourite churches, the Pieve di Corsignano, a Romanesque gem, situated outside the centre of Pienza, overlooking the hills.
A couple of kilometres away from Il Rigo, the chapel of Vitaleta is the perfect location for a photo session.
The chapel is deconsecrated and closed to the public; however, this place is still so inspiring and evocative to maintain a kind of holiness for those visiting it.
