I could not wait longer to share the story and the pictures of the wedding of Cecilia and Joe! This was for sure on of the funniest party I organized, with a lot of young people, very good live music and light harts!
Looking at this joyful pictures I can only be proud that they spend this moments with us. This memories will remain with us forever.

Where shall I start? Maybe I could begin with the very first meeting I had with Cecilia and Joe. It was February, I think. We were closed for our winter pause, and it is always difficult for me to show the house closed, cold, under the rain, and try to let my guests imagine how it would be in August, with golden fields and 30°C…
So, to let them feel a bit better I baked some special treats! I think that was it to convince them!
Finally August arrived and we were ready to host this crew of party people!
Poggio Bacoca was the young refuge, while the “grown up” where hosted in main house Casabianca.
I loved collecting the flowers of the bouquet of Cecilia. I cut my yellow rose thinking of her sunny character!

Cecilia and Joe fell in love with the tiny Pieve di Corsignano. It’s one of my favourite country churches in the area, something definitely not-to-miss during a stay in Valdorcia!
After some shots in Pienza and Viataleta they where ready for a buffet in the courtyard and the dinner!
Before I talked about good live music. They choose a duo, guitar and drums. I was a bit surprised when they told me the first time! I thought it wouldn’t have been enough for let them dancing, but I changed my mind! The music was romantic and entertaining during the cocktail and sparkling and energetic after the dinner, for the party! A very good choice!
As cake they choose a layer Sacher torte, with fresh apricots and edible flowers.
